The project for Recovery Park in spring 2015 (group work project) is to develop comprehensive and practical design guidelines-building that help our client/sponsoring organization, local community groups, and the City of Detroit Planning division to implement a consolidated master plan. Design guidelines for this project require data-driven, evidence-based, and research-intensive efforts. So we got some information from client and other organization and then we tried to visit the site and took photos and collected more information. After that we develop creative and effective design strategies based on the lessons learned from environmental design, open space design, and architectural design in order to address significant issues facing the study site.
